Strand House Supported Living Service

The right home, the right support, at the right time

At Strand House we provide supported living for adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Our focus is simple: the right home, the right support, at the right time — so people can live safely, confidently and as independently as possible.
We believe a home is more than bricks and mortar. It is a place of safety, belonging and growth. From this foundation, people can rebuild confidence, strengthen skills, and take meaningful steps forward in their lives.
Our Vision
We support people to:
-
Live in the least restrictive way possible
-
Have choice and control over their daily lives
-
Develop skills for greater independence
-
Build positive relationships and community connections
-
Move forward on their personal recovery journey
Independence means different things to different people. For some, it may mean managing their own tenancy. For others, it may mean cooking a meal, travelling independently, or building confidence to access community activities. We work with each person to understand what independence means to them.
